Raised in Southern California, Miles fell in love with food in college while developing a school garden. After several years of teaching in various places across the country, Miles landed in the Methow Valley for an intern season on another local farm, and the rest is history. Miles can be found weed-whacking, weeding, harvesting, running food deliveries, and cursing irrigation through the summer months. In the winter, you might find him serving up our produce at Tappi, our local, wood-fired Italian restaurant, scanning seed catalogs, and dreaming of the days when he ditches all the tractors for a team of draft horses.
